Crafting Requests
« on: October 01, 2008, 02:58:05 PM »
I\'d almost rather see a separate thread for each crafting type where people could post requests of items they want to request.
Metalwork : Scholar : Woodwork : Weaponsmith : Jewelry : Tailor : Cooking

Sell & Trade could be condensed into a single topic perhaps.

A Wanted area for miscellaneous goods like trophies, barter items, and whatnot

Those are sub forums... you can create a separate thread for each tradeskill in the crafting forum.  I don\'t think we need a unique sub forum for every tradeskill - crafting in LotRO isn\'t intense enough to warrant it.  Plus, the more forums there are, the slower the site goes.

I might want to changeup this section a bit.  Nobody really auctions items in kin (usually), but crafting requests are currently underutilized.  Let me think on it

I think your missing it.  The \"Artisan\'s Bazaar\" is a separate forum specifically for crafting requests and offers.  That forum will not have auctions.  You want an entirely separate forum (ie. a root forum) for crafting independent of auctions?  Actually, that probably makes more sense logistically anyway.

I don\'t know that we specifically need an auction forum.  Guess we\'ll see how it goes and take feedback from members later.
